On the evening of Friday, June 3, twenty-eight eighth grade students took their final steps into the St. Mary Magdalen Chapel as students and emerged following Mass and the conferral of diplomas as graduates. The evening events capped off a day of celebrations that began with a special luncheon and awards ceremony at Spanish Hills Country Club.
The Class of 2016 is an amazing group who celebrated numerous milestones including countless hours dedicated to community service, a stellar showing at the Camarillo Academic Olympics, multiple athletic championships, but most importantly truly embraced the opportunity to grow in mind, body, and spirit.
Graduates will be attending St. Bonaventure High School, Villanova Preparatory School, Santa Clara High School, La Reina High School, Oaks Christian High School, Rancho Campana High School, Camarillo High School, and Newbury Park High School. While we will certainly miss these students in the next school year, we know they will continue to excel and achieve great things as they build on the foundation they received at St. Mary Magdalen.
